PETERSEN MEDIA: Able to sneak in a night of racing on Friday night at the nearby Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville, IL, Paul Nienhiser climbed back in the Caleb Wankel owned 305ci machine, and picked up his third win of the season.

“We made a last minute decision to hit Jacksonville Speedway on Friday night, and it ended up paying off for us,” Nienhiser said. “The track prep crew has that placed so good right now, its quickly becoming one of my favorite places to race.”

Drawing the second row for heat race action, Nienhiser had the elbows up as he quickly worked into second. With the track still fast early in the night, Nienhiser couldn’t close in on the leader as he settled for second.

Sitting second in points once preliminary action was completed, Nienhiser would find himself on the front row for the 20-lap feature event.

Drag racing the pole sitter into turn one, Nienhiser would get on the cushion and sail around to rocket into the race lead. Out in front, Nienhiser simply would not be denied on this night.

With a very strong car underneath him, the Chapin, IL driver hit his marks lap after lap, and turned in a dominating performance, as he would again park in Jacksonville Speedway victory lane.

“We really have Caleb’s car running great right now,” Nienhiser added. “It is a blast racing with friends, and I am extremely excited to get him another win.”

Nienhiser would like to thank CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oil, Mason Sound, Innovative Design, Bradshaw Custom Pumping, Wessler Bros. Agency, Bob Hawks Auto Body, Littleton Storm & Timber, Fierce Herbicide, Sunstoppers Window Tinting, Engler Machine and Tool, FK Indy, Rider Racing Engines, Kaeding Performance, Smith Titanium Products, Vortex Wings, Signature Signs and Design, and Team Simpson for their continued support.

2019 BY THE NUMBERS: Races-7, Wins-3, Top 5’s-4, Top 10’s-6

ON TAP: Nienhiser is hoping to get back to racing this weekend with either the All Star Circuit of Champions or the MOWA.
